RLC is an extremely busy centre, and is often the first point of contact for people in NSW seeking legal advice. The Centre has a steady stream of inquiries and requests, both by phone and in person. On each of the four evening advice session 10 face-to-face and telephone interviews are conducted.

35% of our clients are from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds (coming from 103 different countries) and 7.4% of our clients chose to identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
In 2009-10 the Centre provided services to around 10,000 people.
